On the Köyceğiz–Dalyan coast, a sheltered bay ringed by pine forest — a blue-cruise anchorage and the sea gateway to Dalyan.

Hidden on the steep, pine-clad coast between Köyceğiz and Dalyan, Ekincik is one of the favourite anchorages of blue-cruise boats thanks to its wind-sheltered shape and clear water. Ringed by dense forest, the bay offers a feeling of untouched nature far from civilisation; the sea is calm and its sand-and-pebble beach is wide. In summer, the sailboats and gulets swaying in the bay give it a classic Aegean–Mediterranean holiday scene.

Ekincik’s most special feature is that it is a sea gateway to İztuzu Beach and the Dalyan Delta: from here, boats reach the İztuzu shores where loggerhead turtles nest and the Dalyan channel lined by the Kaunos rock tombs. Ekincik is therefore both a quiet cove break in itself and a starting point opening to the region’s most magnificent natural wonders. To protect the surrounding forest and sea, it is important to behave with environmental care in the bay.
